The beautiful cerebellum: Pseudo colored Purkinje cells

In this sample I have drawn one hundred Purkinje cells from adult Brainbow mice. For more information about Brainbow technology please see the original article by the inventors from Havard Univeristy: http://www.nature.com/nature/journal/v450/n7166/abs/nature06293.html

In extracting the information about the dendrites and somata we can rotate the sample and better understand its definitive architecture. The 3D model provides new insights into how neighboring dendrites are architecturally arranged.
